Ceramic Braces in Hyderabad

Braces that do the work without announcing it.
Ceramic braces move your teeth exactly the way metal braces do. The difference is that most people will not notice you are wearing them. If you want effective treatment without spending eighteen months in visible metal, this is usually the answer.

What are Ceramic Braces?

Ceramic braces use tooth-coloured or clear brackets instead of stainless steel ones. Same archwire, same method, same result. They simply blend into your teeth instead of sitting on top of them.
Up close, someone will see them. Across a meeting room, in a photograph, on a video call, most people will not.
That is the whole proposition, and for a lot of our patients it is enough.

Ceramic Braces are probably right for you if:

Not every case suits ceramic. Some complex movements are better handled with metal brackets, and we will tell you if yours is one of them rather than fitting the option you walked in wanting.

Do Ceramic Braces Stain?

This is the question that stops people booking. Answer it early and answer it straight.
The brackets do not stain. They are stain-resistant ceramic and they look the same on the day they come off as the day they went on.
The elastic ties that hold the wire can pick up colour, usually from coffee, tea, turmeric and smoking. They are changed at every adjustment appointment, so at worst you are looking at a few weeks between resets.
If you drink a lot of coffee or eat a lot of curry, tell us. There are clear tie options and self-ligating designs that remove the problem entirely.

Ceramic Braces vs Metal Braces vs Clear Aligners

Each orthodontic treatment has its advantages. The right choice depends on your orthodontic needs, lifestyle, and how visible you want your treatment to be.

Ceramic braces give you discretion without giving up the reliability of a fixed appliance. The brackets are slightly more fragile and cost more than metal.

Metal braces handle the cases the other two cannot. Severe crowding, significant rotations, deep bites, and anything needing sustained control over specific teeth.

Clear aligners finish beautifully for the right case and come out when you eat. They only work if you wear them, which is harder than most people expect.

The real question is not which treatment is better. It is which one your case needs, and how visible you are willing to be while it happens.

FAQs

Ceramic braces start from ₹45,000. Your final cost depends on case complexity, treatment duration, and whether extractions or additional appliances are needed. You receive a written estimate after assessment, with no hidden additions later.

The brackets are stain-resistant and do not discolour. The elastic ties holding the wire can pick up colour from coffee, tea, turmeric or smoking, and they are replaced at every adjustment appointment.

For most cases, yes. The mechanics are identical. Metal brackets are preferred for certain complex movements where extra strength is needed, and we will tell you if your case is one of them.

Mild cases usually finish in 12 to 16 months, moderate cases in 16 to 20, and complex cases in 20 to 24 or occasionally longer. We give you an honest estimate at the start and tell you if it changes.

There are no injections and no drilling. You will feel soreness for the first few days after fitting and for two or three days after each adjustment. Soft food and over-the-counter pain relief handle it.

Yes, and most of our ceramic braces patients are adults. There is no upper age limit as long as your gums and supporting bone are healthy, which we check first.

They are more brittle than metal, so hard and sticky foods matter more here. Avoid ice, nuts in the shell, hard sweets and chewing gum. If a bracket does come loose, we replace it at short notice.

Aligners are more discreet and come out when you eat. Ceramic braces are fixed, so they work whether you remember them or not, and they handle a slightly wider range of cases. If you are unsure you would wear aligners consistently, ceramic is the safer choice.
