Single Tooth Implant in Hyderabad
What Is a Single Tooth Implant?

Is a Single Tooth Implant right for you?
- You already have a gap. The tooth came out weeks, months or years ago.
- A tooth is beyond repair. Decay has gone past the point where a crown will hold it.
- The root has fractured. A cracked root cannot be repaired, only replaced.
- A root canal has failed. Re-treatment is sometimes possible. Sometimes it is not.
- A tooth has become loose beyond repair. Usually from advanced bone loss around it.

Front Tooth vs Back Tooth Implant
Single Tooth Implant vs Dental Bridge
| Single Tooth Implant | Dental Bridge | |
|---|---|---|
| Neighbouring teeth | Untouched | Trimmed down and capped |
| Bone health | Stimulates the bone, helps prevent shrinkage | Bone under the gap continues to shrink |
| Cleaning | Brush and floss like a natural tooth | Needs special flossing underneath |
| Longevity | Can last decades with good care | Usually replaced sooner, depends on the supporting teeth |
| Treatment time | Longer, healing time is needed | Faster to complete |
| Best when | Healthy bone, one missing tooth, long-term thinking | An implant is not suitable, or those teeth already need crowns |

FAQs
How much does a single tooth implant cost in Hyderabad?
Does getting a dental implant hurt?
The placement is done under local anaesthesia and you will not feel the procedure. Most patients tell us it was easier than the extraction that came before it. Some soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and manageable with the medication we prescribe.
How long does the healing take?
The implant needs time to fuse with your bone, usually a few months, and your case may run shorter or longer depending on your bone quality and where the tooth sits. We review you through it rather than leaving you to wait.
What is the success rate of dental implants?
Dental implants have among the highest success rates in dentistry when they are properly planned and properly maintained. The variables that matter most are bone quality, gum health, smoking, and how well the implant is cared for afterwards. We assess all of these before recommending one.
Can I get an implant for a front tooth?
Yes, and it is planned differently from a back tooth. The crown is matched to the colour and shape of the teeth beside it and the gum contour is planned alongside it. Depending on your case we can discuss a temporary tooth for the healing period.
Can I get a dental implant if I smoke?
It is possible, but smoking measurably reduces implant success by affecting how the bone and gums heal. We will tell you honestly what it means for your case and what reducing or stopping around the procedure would do for your odds.
Will I need a bone graft?
Only if there is not enough bone to hold the implant securely, which is more common when the tooth has been missing for a long time. Your X-rays tell us this at the first visit, and if a graft is needed it appears in your written estimate rather than arriving later.
How long does a single tooth implant last?
With good hygiene and regular reviews, implants can last decades. The crown on top may need replacing before the implant itself does. What shortens implant life is gum disease around it, which is why we check and monitor your gum health throughout.
